General information, not advice

Openear Club publishes general information about open-ear, bone conduction and workout earbuds. It is not a guarantee that any product will perform as its maker specifies, fit a particular ear, or survive a particular level of sweat or water exposure; IP ratings describe laboratory tests, not your conditions. Nothing on the site is medical advice: hearing-safety pages summarize public-health sources, and anyone with hearing symptoms or an ear condition should consult an audiologist or physician. Laws on wearing headphones while cycling or driving differ by jurisdiction; check the rules that apply to you. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for any product you buy.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to keep ratings, specifications and model numbers accurate, and every figure links to its source. Manufacturers update models and specs often, though, and we can make mistakes. Check the retailer or maker before you buy. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.

Prices, availability and purchases

Prices and availability are set by the retailer and change often, which is why we don't print them. When you click a buy button you leave our site; any purchase is between you and that retailer, under its terms, shipping and return policies. We don't sell products and can't help with orders.

The text, rankings, rubric and page designs on this site are owned by Iron Mako Media unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with attribution. The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Mako Media is not liable for any loss or injury arising from your use of the site or of any product discussed on it. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
